Meet Meredith

Moving frequently to various diverse places while growing up sparked Meredith’s love for design. Spending her formative years in England inspired a deep appreciation for art, culture, and the comfort of a well-designed and built home. “My parents were always designing, building, remodeling, and collecting art. Home was my only constant, and I was immersed in the process of creating these cozy, safe spaces from the start.”

With a degree in Graphic Design and Art History, Meredith built a successful design career in NYC, London, and San Francisco. While raising her two children, she freelanced in graphic design and took on interior design projects for fun. Ultimately, she made a natural step into interiors full-time and has never looked back!

In 2020, she co-founded Darby Wallis Design and since then has transitioned into her own brand. It wasn’t just a change in name, but a deeper reflection of her personal vision: one rooted in thoughtful design, timeless craftsmanship, and a true connection with every client in order to tell their own story.
